Hey, everybody! Brandon here.

Couple things to talk about this week. Wax and Wayne is really close to 50%. But it’s not quite there yet because I had to take this week off and do something else. I’m actually pushing the due date for Wax and Wayne, for the first draft being done, back one week until August 7th, because the second of the Skyward novellas came in this week from Janci, who is my co-author on those, and I needed to do my pass on the second of those. And so I’ve spent all week working on that and will finish that up by Monday of next week and turn back to Wax and Wayne. A little bit of shuffling of dates on that, so we’re going to hover right under 50% for a little while. This week you should see it cross that threshold.

I have a question from Isaac and Kara. We’ve got this issue with the leather bounds, in that it takes forever to get them printed because I have to sign them all. And I’m happy to do this. This is where our livestreams happen, and this is—I sign them during my podcasting time and things like that. So I am able to squeeze that time in and make it happen. But we’ve had some interest—perhaps from people who would like to have us have them up on the website for sale unsigned.

Basically what we would do is—if we did this—is we would list them unsigned, and they would basically always be in stock unsigned, if we could make that happen. Right now we get a burst of them signed, we get a burst of them printed, they come to us, and they sell out in moments because everybody’s waiting for them. We could still continue doing that but also have unsigned editions up just in stock you could buy.

We want to gauge if this is actually something people want, or not. And so we’re going to have a little poll for you here. Question is, if they were available unsigned, but you knew that bursts of signed ones were still coming in, would you A) buy one of the unsigned ones, B) wait and take your chances on one of those bursts knowing that they sell out real quickly, you might not get one, you might have to wait a while, or C) I just don’t buy leather bounds, but I want to participate in the poll anyway. So pick one of those options if you’re interested. It’s just so we can gauge if we wanted to pull the trigger on getting a stock of these unsigned. If you’re not interested, then that’s not a big deal. We’ll keep doing it the way that we have been doing it.
