| Hello, everyone! Back for a Weekly Update. Sorry about last week. Producer Adam was on vacation, and he had a very good vacation, and we like him to go on vacation on occasion because we like to keep our Adam very happy because he’s the one that makes all these updates for you. |
I’ve got a couple things for you today. The first one is an update on what’s happening. I have finished my draft of Evershore. This is the third of the Skyward novellas. We’ll start doing some more publicity for those in a couple of weeks. You’ll figure out a little bit more what these are. But if you need a reminder, they take placed between, kind of concurrent, really, to book 3, kind of starting at the end of book 2, right near the end, and fills in what’s happening while the events of book 3 are happening. Because the events of book 3 are only Spensa, and we’re going to see the rest of the team. I’m really excited by these. I think you’ll really like them.
I finished that on Monday, so I turned my attention back to Wax and Wayne 4, which I have gotten through 50% of that revision so far. I did another about 10% today. So on target for finishing that some time late September, whereupon I will write the fourth Skyward book.
So a fun poll for you today. We have run out of copies of the hardcover of The Emperor’s Soul. Now, we’re wondering if you all would like us to reprint The Emperor’s Soul with the previous cover, kind of the famous cover we’ve been using for The Emperor’s Soul all along, or if instead you would like us to try to print a small sized hardcover that matches with what we’ve done with Dawnshard and with Edgedancer ones. So on you’re shelf you’ll have, like, these little mini novella hardcovers. We were thinking of doing a nice one of that that has the Soul Stamp on the cover, maybe in a slightly different color, but so that they’re the same size and match to those ones.
If you are looking to buy one of these two, would you give us a hint in our poll which of the two you would prefer us doing, if you would like us to keep the larger size and full-color dust jacket The Emperor’s Soulhardcover and print, or if you’d like the smaller mini size to match your Edgedancer’s and your Dawnshard’s.
