BRANDON: Hey! Brandon here with your Weekly Update. I am hurriedly signing 3,000 copies of The Most Boring Book Ever with Kazu, who is right here with us.
KAZU: Oh. Hello! I'm trying to keep up with Brandon.
BRANDON: That's Kazu Kibuishi, the awesome illustrator of The Most Boring Book Ever. We have quite the little production line here. But we figured I'd do the Weekly Update while doing this so you can kind of see what we do when we have these books to sign. I'm signing in color this time, so it stands out a little more.
So, couple things for you. Janci has said that Blightfall is at, Bing! 32%. That Bing will probably hover in the air, not above my hand. And I am working on the non-Cosmere novella, and I am at, Bing! 75%.
We have a release event for The Most Boring Book Ever September 24th. We still have tickets for that, which is rare. We have not made a big deal of them because we were worried that it would have the thing that would happen here it sells out instantly and then we tell people that they can get tickets and then they can't. But there are still tickets. So if you want to come--and I think these are all tickets for actual in-person going through the line meeting me and Kazu. So if you would like to come meet me and Kazu on the 24th, each ticket, I believe, gets in one younger person and one older person as a chaperone. And so there should be seats for two of you. We guarantee seats for two of you in the auditorium. There might be seating for a few others, but I can't guarantee it. But regardless, if you want to come see us on the 24th, tickets, you can find out how to get those in the description.
If you would like to see the book trailer for The Most Boring Book Ever, Kazu's good friend Denver Jackson, an awesome animator, did our book trailer. And so we're going to post it in here for you to watch. And I'll be back next week with another Weekly Update.
