Where to Buy Signed Hardcovers

In case you couldn’t make it to my booksignings during the THE WAY OF KINGS tour in the early fall of 2010, here is a list of bookstores that I visited with information on how to pick up a signed copy from them. Most of these stores should have signed copies through the holidays at least. (Some will have them longer. See below.) You can find signed copies of hardcovers that have been out for more than one year in my store here.

As always, my first hope is that you will support your local booksellers. But I do like to leave behind signed copies, and I know any of these booksellers would be happy to send you copies in the mail. Some have quite a variety of my books on hand for you.

BYU Bookstore
Wilkinson Student Center (WSC)
Brigham Young University
Provo, Utah 84602
(800) 253-2578

BYU Bookstore has now SOLD OUT of numbered copies of THE WAY OF KINGS from my release party there. However, they DO still have some numbered copies of both WARBREAKER and THE GATHERING STORM. This is the only way to get a numbered copy of one of those books. There were also a mere seven copies of TOWERS OF MIDNIGHT left after its release party. Those are probably already gone but you can call and ask.

Joseph-Beth in Cincinnati
2692 Madison Road # M
Cincinnati, OH 45208-1320
(513) 396-8960

Joseph-Beth Booksellers has some copies of THE WAY OF KINGS and TOWERS OF MIDNIGHT. A few (but not all) of the latter are also signed by Harriet. Give them a call.

Barnes & Noble in West Jordan
7157 Plaza Center Drive
West Jordan, UT 84084
(801) 282-1324

I’m not sure how many books this store still has, but the copies of THE WAY OF KINGS I signed there are numbered as well, and most are also signed by interior artist Isaac Stewart. They may have spread them to other Barnes & Nobles in the area. Give them a call and ask.

Eagle Eye Book Shop near Atlanta
2076 N Decatur Rd
Decatur, GA 30033-5306
(404) 486-0307

During Dragon*Con and the Decatur Book Festival I signed a ton of copies of THE WAY OF KINGS for Eagle Eye. These copies are also signed by two of the interior artists, Isaac Stewart and Ben McSweeney. I believe they have copies of WARBREAKER as well. Give them a call.

The Missing Volume
Raleigh, NC 27624
(321) 297-6635
[email protected]

The Missing Volume is an independent bookseller I signed a lot of books for at Dragon*Con. It looks like their online catalogue doesn’t have the book listed, so give them a call. These copies are also signed by Isaac Stewart and Ben McSweeney.

Larry Smith, Bookseller
Upper Arlington, OH 43229
(614) 442-1010
[email protected]

I also signed a lot of books for Larry Smith at Dragon*Con. I think they mostly do the convention dealer’s room circuit. These copies are also signed by Isaac Stewart and Ben McSweeney. Call to see how to get your hands on a copy.

The following stores likely have signed copies only of THE WAY OF KINGS, and these copies are not signed by any of the artists. I also signed any stock copies of my other books that they had. Give them a call or drop by.

During upcoming tours I’m also doing drop-by signings at whatever bookstores I happen to pass. A lot of these are in airports—which by nature have a very limited stock that disappears within a few days, so I won’t post them here. I do however mention them in Twitter and Facebook updates. If you happen to fly through an airport right after I’m there, be sure to hit up the bookstores.
