BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
Here’s my review of THE WISE MAN’S FEAR by Pat Rothfuss. http://j.mp/eP1fqU

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
Reading Egwene’s prophetic dreams in TDR and smiling at the ones about Mat that recently saw fulfillment. What a long wait. 🙂 #wotrr

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
To think, I read this book when it was first published. I was 15. I’m 35 now. I just got to have a hand in seeing the fulfillment. #wotrr

atheistcanuck Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson is it true that Stormlight 2 is being delayed tl 2013?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@atheistcanuck It depends on when I get AMOL finished. Stormlight 2 MIGHT be in 2012. We will have to see.

WoTLuckers Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson I was just wondering, was there a reason Egwene let Tiana go and chose a new Mistress of Novices?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@WoTLuckers There were several reasons. One, however, is that she wasn’t doing a particularly good job.

zarakand Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson Any chance your blog will start posting copies of your tweets and replies to questions? I loved reading those and miss them.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@zarakand It will continue to do that; I haven’t been tweeting a lot lately, so we haven’t been posting them. There will be more.

Red_Chaos85 Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson I know you’ve heard it before, but thank you for writing Mistborn. It fully rekindled my faith in the fantasy genre.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@Red_Chaos85 Thank you for giving my books a shot.

PhilWalberg Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson : Dental Stall? I’m a dentist in the UK and we have separate surgeries. What’s a stall?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@PhilWalberg The homey little alcoves where you sit in the chair with the light above. There are often several in a row, separated by walls

sleepinghour Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson Any clue you can give us on who sent the Gray Man to kill Egwene and Nynaeve in TDR? I’ve always wondered about that. #wotrr

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@sleepinghour I’ll get you an answer to that someday.

Meeeeech Tue Mar 01
It’s Wise Man’s Fear day! Where’s that review @BrandSanderson ?? It’s the only review I’m going to read.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@Meeeeech It’s up now. Sorry about the delay.

awbattles Tue Mar 01
OK @BrandSanderson,I understand writing takes time, but I need new WoT or Stormlight. Spring break is almost here. You have one week! Please?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@awbattles One week, eh. I’ll see what I can do…

pbsebastien Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson had never read u until u took over the WOT series. Must say—love your style!

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@pbsebastien Thanks!

zarakand Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson There is something wrong when the Kindle edition of Wise Man’s Fear is a $.59 less than the hardcover…come on publishers!

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@zarakand Yeah. Though, do realize that Amazon charges us a download bandwith fee that is much larger than you think.

Musingsby Tue Mar 01
@z3raphim @BrandSanderson I completely agree. Elantris made me believe in fantasy literature again.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@Musingsby Thank you kindly.

GSArku Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson will there be a signing with Harriet in UT anytime soon?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@GSArku She is planning to come to Utah for the AMOL tour.

robspalding Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson Mistborn book 1 now no longer available on UK Kindle from amazon. Even though I bought and read it from there last month

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@robspalding That’s very strange. I never can keep track of what the UK publisher is doing with ebooks. Should be back soon, I assume.

johthohar86 Tue Mar 01
Talk about awesome!! @BrandSanderson has FOUR books in the Top 20 of Tor’s Best SFF of the decade. 5 if you go to 21!! http://bit.ly/ieWE6S

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@johthohar86 That’s pretty cool. Where is the data for that from? Who voted?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
It’s so strange to read these early books, where Egwene is still thinking of Rand half-romantically. And Galad full-romantically. #wotrr.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
Wow. TDR 27 has a cool little foreshadowing for the end of AMOL that I’d never noticed before. #wotrr

Lilac1uk Sun Feb 27 01
@Lilac1uk @BrandSanderson Way of Kings is just brilliant! Now finding it hard to choose what to read next as nothing compares… BTW Linkin Park’s album Thousand Suns goes perfectly with Way of Kings—could have been written for each other 🙂

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@Lilac1uk Thank you for reading. And I am a Linkin Park fan, so I think your pick is well chosen.

Darth_Andrea Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson I have always felt that in #EOTW Mat was just baggage, in #TGH he was a mcguffin, but in #TDR his story truly starts

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@Darth_Andrea Agreed. Re: Mat in the previous books.

RandomAngst Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson Do you have any insight into how at the start of TDR, Rand appears more ‘mad’ than he was at the end of TGH? #wotrr

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@RandomAngst He is doing a poor job of dealing with having killed a person for the first time.

Ciaran2712 Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson any plans for coming to the UK / Ireland at all?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@Ciaran2712 Yes, trying to get there this summer, actually.

anaheimandrew Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson thanks for taking up your pen and completing the series! What does VP stand for?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@anaheimandrew VP means Viewpoint, meaning a time we see through the character’s eyes.

BA_Matthews Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson, #Mistborn would be a better audio book with a full cast. Still, its such a well written book that I can’t say I mind. ^_^

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@BA_Matthews I’ll keep that in mind. I DO have full cast recording for some of my books. Not Mistborn yet.

damenleeturks Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson Wait, we lose Rand!?!

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@damenleeturks He’s not in the third book very much. He comes back in the fourth.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
Oh, Wondergirls. After severe punishment for leaving the Tower wo/permission, what’s their 1st thought at hearing the BA is in Tear? #wotrr

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
My assistant @PeterAhlstrom notes: “There are over 300 corrections going from the Way of Kings hardcover to paperback. Fans found 100.”

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
Anyone ever notice how the word “Parallel” is visually appropriate to its meaning, but that perpendicular really needs a “T” in it?

MaryRobinette Wed Mar 02
@BrandSanderson We should all just start spelling it perpenticular.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@MaryRobinette All in favor, say Mouth! (As opposed to Aye, which really doesn’t have anything to do with speaking.)

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 03
Today’s Schlock is awesome: http://bit.ly/f4DHLA Setup: Taller woman is a doctor, come to visit the man, a somewhat dim ex-mercenary.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 03
You know, I’ve always been amazed Mat didn’t end up causing more trouble with that letter from Siuan he was given… #wotrr

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 03
Hey! @KenJennings is doing a Q&A on Reddit: http://bit.ly/hhQPnY I wonder if he’ll ever get to my questions: http://bit.ly/hT2GcB

feliciaday Thu Mar 03
Has anyone ever Fabrezed an item of clothing they were wearing instead of changing? I’m asking for a friend. #ahem

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 03
@feliciaday No, but I once (ahem) had a friend in college who decided to try ironing the front of his shirt while wearing it.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 03
Baby Meatloaf is very helpful when doing a WoT reread. He keeps bringing me various objects and toys to, you know, use in reading. #wotrr

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 03
Many congrats to my writing excuses pal @johncleaver for finishing the first draft of his latest book; I think the project is still secret.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 04
On the plane t
o Charleston for TarValon.net 10th aniv party. Limeboy’s first time on a plane. Literally the most exciting event of his life.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 04
Favorite quote of the day: “Fortunately, as a vampire, I have the proportional strength of a much larger vampire.” http://bit.ly/f8GtyX

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 05
On my way to the long awaited Charleston signing. Will be there for two hours. Harriet will come in an hour.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 05
If you want a copy of Towers of Mid signed by Harriet & me, call B&N here at 843 572 2322. They ship. Rare chance to get Harriet’s sig.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 05
Okay. We are done. We will leave some signed stock if you want to call, but we must leave. Thanks to all.

BrandSanderson Sun Mar 06
Listening to Maria and Alan answer fan questions. Very interesting comments.

BrandSanderson Sun Mar 06
Seen at the Tarvalon.net Anniv: http://twitpic.com/46xdxr

BrandSanderson Mon Mar 07
Well, Limeboy(age 3) only managed to escape—unknown—and go down the elevator and run around the main lobby area once.

BrandSanderson Mon Mar 07
New blog post up on recent reader polls that my books have fared well in. http://j.mp/fPdLbt

BrandSanderson Mon Mar 07
Went over the entire (updated) AMOL outline with Team Jordan today. I know several wot fans who’d have given a limb or two to listen in.

BrandSanderson Tue Mar 08
I put up a longish post about the Suvudu cage matches. http://j.mp/fqlvLk

BrandSanderson Tue Mar 08
Limeboy, how can you POSSIBLY sleep in a position like that… http://twitpic.com/47krkq

BrandSanderson Tue Mar 08
Harriet’s house—like any editor’s house—is full of cool stuff. I couldn’t help taking a shot of this: http://twitpic.com/47lbib

BrandSanderson Tue Mar 08
For those wondering at that last tweet, yes, the record is inside. Remember, Harriet has a son who lived here years ago. Probably his 😉

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 09
We are at a very swanky restaurant. (Harriet’s favorite) Harriet is teaching Limeboy to stick a spoon on his nose. No kidding.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 09
For those of you asking, Limeboy is my 3 year old and Harriet is Robert Jordan’s wife & editor. One of the most distinguished people I know.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 09
Readers tell me the Elantris audiobook (my first book, a stand-alone epic fantasy) is on sale at audible. $5 for members. Spread the word.

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 09
Remember, the Elantris sale appears to be Audible members only. I haven’t confirmed the price. Sitting in the plane in Atlanta right now…

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
Kaladin chapter symbol T-shirt up for preorder at http://inkwing.com/ — they have free shipping for any orders through this coming Monday.

acrylic_thumbs Thu Mar 10
@BrandSanderson Boo! They don’t have Rock sizes!

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@acrylic_thumbs Rock sizes? As in really big? I can see what I can do, if you want.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
Some of my favorite moments in TDR are how Perrin & Moiraine mention The Dragon Reborn & the Horn around Faile, stunning her.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
Also, yes, I’m back to #wotrr. The Charleston trip was very important to getting the book ready, but it did slow my reading somewhat.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
Ah, Mat: “I just have to win once more, and I’m done with Elayne, and that’s the last of the White Tower for me…” #wotrr

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
By the way, one of my students this semester is a just plain fantastic writer. Of the “This kid needs to be published, like NOW, variety.”

SarahMichal17 Thu Mar 10
@BrandSanderson The new question: Did you REALLY name your child “Limeboy?”

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@SarahMichal17 Ha. No, his name is actually Joel.

christinajl_gb Thu Mar 10
Really enjoying #WayofKings by @BrandSanderson

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@christinajl_gb Thanks for reading!

agbaines Thu Mar 10
Just finished Mistborn series by @BrandSanderson. Wow, his “hard” magic system is cool. Have to try writing something like that.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@agbaines Thanks!

mfschantz Thu Mar 10
@BrandSanderson Finally getting to TGS. “Egwene Al’Vere.” That scene is pure awesomeness. Thanks for signing my book up in DC.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@mfschantz My pleasure.

MikeBreitner Thu Mar 10
UPS just delivered “Towers of Midnight” signed by @BrandSanderson, Harriet McDougal, & Maria Simons. Thanks! #WoT

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@MikeBreitner Glad it got there safely.

csoandy Thu Mar 10
@mortman big fan of @BrandSanderson’s work. Warbreaker, Way of Kings, Elantris, Mistborn.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@csoandy Thanks for the kind words.

Anomaly0552 Thu Mar 10
@BrandSanderson So I heard that Studio Art Line in Bulgaria snapped up rights to TWOKs. Does this mean a movie? I couldn’t be more happy.

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@Anomaly0552 No, that’s just a Bulgarian book publisher, I believe. (Sorry.)

RDMZN Thu Mar 10
@BrandSanderson I have promised myself not to read the series again until you have written all the rest. Starting to change my mind now…

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@RDMZN That last one is coming, I promise. Sometime next year. So if you do reread, the wait for the last won’t be long.

mathachew Thu Mar 10
@BrandSanderson I may die at the end of the week (not really); it would rock if I knew the end of Alcatraz, or when I may read it. Feed me!

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@mathachew Well, the Altar scene is the end of the last book. It happens in the depths of the Library of Congress.

JeffEdde Thu Mar 10
@BrandSanderson If we ignore you on twitter, will you finish the book any faster? Or do our comments keep you motivated? #wotrr

BrandSanderson Thu Mar 10
@JeffEdde Oh, I don’t know. I’d say they keep me motivated more than they distract me.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
I remember the first time I heard the Egwene/Nynaeve/Elayne trio called the “Wondergirls.” I’m pretty sure I was in Korea at the time #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
I’ve often gotten questions from people asking if Egwene was Ta’veren. Obviously not, as Siuan would have seen the glow of it. #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
People seem to wonder why all 3 boys, and not a single one of the girls, are ta’veren. I’ve assumed this was to confuse the Shadow. #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
To make it difficult to track down Rand and kill him before he grew powerful, the Pattern made 3 ta’veren to keep everyone guessing. #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
Of course, it can be argued that the Pattern doesn’t do such things—it simply IS. Still, I’ve liked that as part of the explanation. #wotrr

MoiraineM Fri Mar 11
#FF @BrandSanderson Because I just can’t get enough of his writing and his universe!

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@MoiraineM Thanks!

CKserenity Fri Mar 11
@BrandSanderson thanx for writing great books loved The way of kings and am now reading Mistborn. Keep up the good writing.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@CKserenity I’ll do it as long as wonderful folks like you keep reading.

jonasnl Fri Mar 11
@BrandSanderson Why the hell whoud the Wheel want to confuse the Shadow? :S The Wheel is good nor bad, so it won’t choose a side

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@jonasnl Think of it this way—yes, the Pattern simply IS. But evolution simply IS as well. And some times, species evolve to…

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@jonasnl …have many offspring in order to increase the chances of survival. Likewise, we have three ta’veren. A survival mechanism.

jugulum Fri Mar 11
@BrandSanderson Weak analogy? If evolution==Pattern, you’d need “Evolution IS, and evolution itself has DMs.” Pattern doesn’t have species.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@jugulum Ha ha. I didn’t say Evolution==the Pattern. I was showing an amoral, natural function could create something similar to 3 Tav.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
Man, people sure are quick to accuse RJ of sexism on my twitter feed & facebook. I think any who do this are blatantly wrong. (more) #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
It’s okay to not like the books, or to think RJ did a bad job w/characterizations. I disagree, but everyone’s tastes are different. #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
But he took great pains to create many strong female protagonists with a variety of strengths, and gave them their own stories. #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
Yes, there are (More than a few) sexist people in the wot. And the culture
has been influenced by the male/female interactions of the power.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
However, if you look at the time devoted to female viewpoints—and the plots of those characters—the “RJ is sexist” theory erodes. #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
Warning: Long update on this topic. As a nod to those who truly know feminist literary theory, I’ll make a less “Twitter friendly” argument. Robert Jordan, by creating a world where the women and men are very aware of gender roles, spent a lot of time delving into these topics. I’m convinced he was aware of male privilege, and though biased—as all of us are—sought very hard to overcome his own biases by creating evocative female characters with plot lines that do not center around the obtaining of favor or romantic interest from male characters. He also sought to create a world where women were not defined by how they were viewed by men, but were instead defined by their intelligence, determination, and accomplishments. In this way, though he exposes some small masculine biases in various areas, he was extremely progressive as a dominant male writer of his era, and should be regarded as anything other than “sexist” for his efforts. /Scholarly Brandon

mr0wizard Tue Mar 01
@BrandSanderson I hear you loud and clear! I love when he first learns about his Luck. Was RJ method writing it feels real watching Mat?

BrandSanderson Wed Mar 02
@mr0wizard RJ was a ‘method writer’ in many ways. He very much got into a character. Harriet tells stories about it.

josephpeavey Fri Mar 11
@BrandSanderson @mr0wizard RJ a method writer stories from Harriet? As Jules might say to Vincent, “Example!”

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
On another topic, @josephpeavey asked me to share a story about RJ “Method writing.” Well, Harriet had a great one (more) #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
She says she’d catch him slinking into the house, walking with a different mood. She knew he’d been writing Padan Fain that day. #wotrr

RDMZN Fri Mar 11
@BrandSanderson — what was your inspiration for using metals and their alloys as catalysts for magical ability in #Mistborn series?

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@RDMZN A little bit alchemy, a little bit my own strange imaginations.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
The scene of Perrin at the forge in Tear is one of my outright favorites. People often ask if killing characters is tough… #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
…Yes it is. But writing the TofM scene with Perrin and the hammer he got here in Tear was more emotional for me than most deaths. #wotrr

k_hack Fri Mar 11
@brandsanderson I’ve picked up some funny male bias in the books (lots of “breasts”, no male equivalent, etc) but wdn’t say RJ’s sexist

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@k_hack Yes, I’ve noticed a few of those too.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@DJ_How Thanks!

pueblonative Fri Mar 11
@BrandSanderson You have a FB page?

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@pueblonative Yes, but it is the same as my Twitter feed.

btballenger Fri Mar 11
@BrandSanderson Agreed. Hey, how much more “Scholarly Brandon” is online? Seen your postmodernism in fantasy essay, besides that?

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@btballenger Not a ton. I’ve had to walk a fine line, as I’m not enough of a scholar to trust myself digging too deeply.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@btballenger I’ve got a Master’s, so I can talk the talk—but when others spent their time in research, I spent it practicing writing.

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@btballenger I think I have an essay or two on my website. Search for “Sanderson’s First Law” and my religion essay regarding Elantris.

dragonmount Fri Mar 11
I think @brandsanderson needs to grow a big bushy beard like RJ while he finishes AMOL. —JD #WoT #wotrr

BrandSanderson Fri Mar 11
@dragonmount Re: Bushy RJ Beard. Doesn’t Pat Rothfuss have that angle cornered? (I did promise Emily I’d do a goatee this summer.)

Terez27 Sat Mar 12
My response to @BrandSanderson (who is, by the way, pretty awesome. just saying.) http://bit.ly/eyEzrA

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
@Terez27 I can see where you’re coming from, but I still think almost everything (including the things in Abby’s essay, which I’ve read) are more importantly aligned with Robert Jordan trying to create a realistic world where the One Power’s gender imbalance has affected things, mixed with his attempts to create cultures with Earth parallels somewhere in the mid 1800s. Simply put, if there WEREN’T some of these gender imbalances in cultures, the books wouldn’t feel realistic. Once we remove that, we’re left with a few of the smaller things—the spanking issue, the issue of female nudity, treatments of homosexuality, and the narrative’s fondness for noticing female anatomy. Much smaller issues, I believe, though st
ill there. (I think the female nudity, by the way, is RJ trying to approach some of the concepts of the ‘sacred feminine’ as you see in feminist writings by people like Plath and Sexton—in which female nudity and menstruation are often associated with ritual and power.)

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
From questions I’ve gotten at signings, people still seem confused by the black threads/cords sometimes attached to Forsaken. (more) #wotrr

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
I thought this clear; that these were the means by which male Forsaken avoided the taint. Is there still uncertainty on this point? #wotrr

Theoryland Sat Mar 12
@BrandSanderson Don’t believe it has been definitively declared. You said on tour ’09, “Robert Jordan is kind of dodgy on the black cords.” But maybe now we should consider it definitely declared? 🙂 Evidence does point in the direction of taint protection.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
@Theoryland There may be a tad more to the cords that RJ didn’t state, but I will say that one major reason is the taint protection.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
I have finished The Dragon Reborn (finally) on my re-read. Next up, my favorite of the books. The Shadow Rising. #wotrr

TrollocTalk Sat Mar 12
@BrandSanderson Will you hold a new charity contest for AMoL, but this time for trolloc/dreadlord/darkfriend names? We think you should.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
@TrollocTalk I WILL hold a new contest like that. Likely to help fund Jordancon.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
And lo, 1% of AMoL done, as per my website progress bar. My reading’s been slow this last month, but I made up for it by working on a scene.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
Here! A (kind of) screenshot of the beginning of the end of the Wheel of Time. http://twitpic.com/48wm4n

Defacer607 Sat Mar 12
@BrandSanderson Wow, really? Not even a wind paragraph?

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
@Defacer607 Notice the file name. This is prologue material.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
For those asking: Yes, I write in courier. I apprenticed as a writer during an era where it was still the standard among the old guard.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
I also underline instead of italicize, use “--” instead of an emdash, and have habits relating to other old-school typesetting artifacts.

Thought1 Sat Mar 12
@BrandSanderson Even MS Word processes those — if you _italic_ a word, it auto-italicizes it, *bold* bolds it, etc. And if you type -- and then another word, when you hit space it emdashes it for you.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
@Thought1 Yes, I have to remove all of those auto-formatting issues to keep them from screwing up my manuscript.

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
@Thought1 Italics are too easy to miss when reading through to edit, and an emdash looks too much like a hyphen in some fonts.

hinkyspunk Sat Mar 12
@BrandSanderson I know many fantasy novels are quite long, but does length hurt your chances when trying to get a first novel published? Thx

BrandSanderson Sat Mar 12
@hinkyspunk Yes, it does. Don’t let that stop you if it’s what you want to do, but know that length can make it harder to break in.

hinkyspunk Sat Mar 12
@BrandSanderson I was afraid of that, but I don’t know how to tell this story any other way. I suppose pitching a trilogy is even harder?

BrandSanderson Mon Mar 14
@hinkyspunk If there is any way to write the first book at around 150k and have it stand on its own, then it’s not harder to pitch a trilogy

BrandSanderson Mon Mar 14
@hinkyspunk However, if the book must be long, then it must be long. It makes things harder, yes, but do what you think makes the best book.
